Southern Governor, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Coordination Council, chaired the seventh meeting of the Coordination Council for the year 2023.
 
Representatives of various government entities attended the meeting.
 
HH the Southern Governor welcomed the attendees, stressing that continuous communication with citizens is a constant approach to reach out to them and cater to their needs in the implementation of the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He also commended the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
 
HH expressed his thanks and appreciation to the members of the Council for their active and prominent role in serving the Southern community in various fields, noting that the Coordination Council has contributed to the establishment of a series of services and projects that meet the needs of the people and provides services.
 
The Governor followed up on the results of the field visits and their role in meeting the needs of the citizens, as well as the development of service projects and facilities, including the Isa Town Central Market Development Project and Zayed Town Walkway project.
 
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali praised the role played by the representatives of government entities in supporting the efforts of the Southern Governorate in developing the projects and upgrading them to the highest levels.
