This project is considered as one of the most prominent developmental and civilisational projects that have been adopted by the Governorate. Through this project, His Highness the Southern Governorate has directed to preserve the park and the natural water spring, and to enhance its condition, in coordination with the Southern Area Municipality. It aims to provide the area with water and traditional playing areas, in addition to a  traditional market (Souq) and a heritage village that consists of traditional seating areas and food court.
