Southern Governor Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa received, in the presence of Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Japanese Minister of Defence Tarō Kōno and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Suzuki Keisuke, at the conclusion of the IISS Manama Dialogue 2019.

The meeting was attended by Interior Ministry Inspector General Major Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, governors and Assistant Coordinator General of the governorates.

The Southern Governor welcomed the audience, praising deep-rooted relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan in various social, economic and cultural fields.

The Japanese ministers lauded the Bahraini-Japanese relations, praising the recent visit of the Southern Governor to Japan and its role in promoting bilateral cooperation regarding the governorate affairs.
